Broadsoft

In the late 90’s, two companies had parallel visions for the future of business communications. Broadsoft (led by founder Mike Tessler) and Sylantro (led by founder Pete Bonee) battled for years, and in the process built the market for cloud-based unified communications. Broadsoft ultimately gained the upper hand, the two companies merged, and the combined entity went public in 2010.
